Salam Sejahtera !

Saja nak kongsi macam mana saya boleh turun 17 kg. Actually it took me 4 months nak turun 17 kg dan ianya tidak senang dan tidak jugak susah. 2 bulan pertama, focus saya hanya pada permakanan. Saya ikut kaedah suku-suku separuh. Saya pastikan kalori makanan yang saya ambil tidak lebih dari 1350 kal sehari, sesuai dengan berat dan gaya hidup saya. Bulan pertama saya turun 7 kg, happy tu hanya Allah saja yang tahu.

Lepas 2 bulan berat saya dah turun hampir 10kg, tapi dia dah semakin susah nak turun.

Nak travel the world kan. Mesti kena kuat dan sihat. Until we meet again!

How to Write Personal Goals

Learning how to write personal goals will help you figure out what you want to do with your life and what you want to achieve. If you don't know where to begin, the following information can be used as a guideline to get you started on your path to not only setting personal goals, but achieving them as well.

1.Consider lifetime (long-term) goals you want to set. Goals should be achievable, yet challenging.
  • Ask yourself what you want to do professionally. What do you want to attain from your profession?
  • How much money do you want to earn, save and spend?
  • Do you want to go to college? If so, what do you want to earn a degree in, and from what school? If you need to finish a degree, what is holding you back from finishing it?
  • Do you want to get married? If so, by what age do you want to marry? Do you want children and if so, when do you think you want to begin a family?
  • What plans do you want to make for staying healthy? What hobbies and fun activities interest you and would you like to improve your skills in?

2.Create a plan of smaller (short-term) goals that you can achieve within a certain time. For example, think about things that you want to do in the next five years.
  • Break down these goals into even smaller frames, such as 1 year and 1 month.
  • These goals can include doing research or preparing yourself for your long-term goals, such as looking into colleges, speaking to a financial advisor about saving money or job hunting in your field of interest for your career.
  • The smaller goals that you set for yourself will ultimately help you in achieving your lifetime goals.

3.Make a daily "To Do" list. This small list can be a positive reminder for you to prioritize your goals, and helps you stay focused on the larger goals you are working at achieving.
  • To complete your "to do" list, write down all the activities that you need to do. Prioritize the activities based on their importance, one being the most important and the last activity number being the least important.
  • The tasks on your list can then be completed based on their number of importance, scratching off one by one as the tasks are done.

Tips
  • You can extend or shorten goal deadlines if you feel you might not make a goal. However, if it's taking too long or not taking enough time to complete a goal, consider reevaluating the goal you set; it might be too difficult to achieve at the time, or too easy.
  • Writing personal goals can be a rewarding experience, but so can achieving your goals. Once you achieve a goal, reward yourself! Nothing provides more motivation for you to move on to the next goal on your list.

Tips on How to Be Happy & Stay Happy

Credit to http://www.wikihow.com

  • Listen to Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful' and Sugababes' 'Ugly' and other mood boosting songs unless they don't boost your mood. If they don't, listen to the music that does boost your mood. It could be instrumental Celtic, African drums, reggae, rap, rock... what moves you and makes you happy.
  • When you're forgiving someone - forgive them, then move on! Don't rehash or remind. It doesn't mean that it didn't happen... regain your power and choose to release yourself from the situation. Mistakes happen, people may or may not learn from them. Forgive.
  • Try helping others. There is nothing like helping someone else to help improve your self confidence.
  • Do something that you want to do, or like, every day. Whether it be listening to the song that you love, or dancing in your underwear in your bedroom, it doesn't matter. Just do it and forget about other people. Enjoy the moment of being free, and carry that with you for the rest of the day.
  • It's your life; so live it how you want to! But be aware of what you are doing.
  • Make a "happy" songs play list to listen to when you're not feeling so good. This especially helps at the beginning of your day. This is "happy" in the sense that they make you happy and have good memories, not whether other people think they are or aren't happy songs.
  • Make an "angry" songs play list to listen to when you face rough situations. Chances are there are a lot of good musicians who've been where you're at, felt what you feel and can express your feelings so well that you wind up letting them go, dancing and being creative.
  • If you are feeling lonely spend some time doing fun things with the people that are close to you. Or get on the Internet and meet people you have more in common with.
  • Watch TV or read a book.

How to Be Happy Being Yourself

Credit to http://www.wikihow.com

Be yourself! This means doing what you want, achieving your goals instead of living up to others expectations. This is your life. Tune out the little voice that says "What will so-and-so think."

Accept and forget. Write down all your flaws, everything you don't like about yourself. Divide them into three columns: worth worrying about, who cares? and why is it even on this list? Rip them all up. This is not about changing yourself. This is being yourself and loving yourself for it.

Accept and appreciate. Write down everything you like about yourself, even if you think it's trivial. Things like your favorite color or music count too. The list is longer than you think it is.

Eliminate! Identify places or people or things that make you feel uncomfortable with yourself. Eliminate this stuff from your schedule. You have no time for people who don't accept you.

Forget others' opinions. If you feel fat because someone said you were they were probably covering up for their own insecurity problem. You'd be surprised how many people project their own fears by picking on other people. Was the person who said it more overweight than you are? Happens all the time. Feel superior, take the high road and forget.

Learn to forgive. Once your self-esteem is booming and confidence glowing I bet at least one person will be sorry. Forgive and forget. Everyone makes mistakes. You did by listening to them.

Enjoy yourself! Life is short. Live it well. Never back down from an obstacle you face. Always remember, you are number one. You are you and its only the world around you.

Learn to have a good laugh everyday. Call it your daily dose of laughter. Laughter has been proven to help you relax, boost your immune system, protect your heart, and help you just feel good in general. Think about old stuff that you thought was funny and laugh about it again!

Enjoy what you do, and don't let ANYONE get you down because they don't do it, or they don't like it. No one can be normal because everyone's unique.

P/S: I start to like this web...

Rewarding yourself is a good motivation...

I always wanted to release my stress in different way instead of sleeping...yes..normally when i feel so stress i will just sleep..then when i wake up, everything will be vanished..but sometimes its just for a lil while..then i will start feeling stress again..

When i look back at me (my life ofcoz), I'm going to join the 30's club very soon..n yet im so dumb when talking about how we should appreciate ourself..i really need to change my lifestyle a lil bit b4 i reach 30..so i started by doing a foot spa (my own style) and treat myself with a cup of jasmine tea i bought in Vietnam last year..and yes, i agree with her..it was really good moment..n feel calm, happy n automatically the positive aura spread over my body and mind..make me feel so happy and positive the next morning..i woke up with a smile on my face, energetic and cheerful..

I also read about how you should make as many changes as u can in your life..what i mean is lifestyle changes...but i forgot which web..the changes he meant is just simple and yet make sense..one of it is rewarding urself after going through a hard work, hard week or hard day..lets check what kind things you can do to reward urself which not only making ur life more meaningful but also to make u feel more confidence, energetic, happy, positive and motivated..

1. Spend ur time to watch new movie in cinema with your friends, family or love one
2. Get a new stuff for urself like t.shirt, shoes, hijab, towel in ur fav color, new carpet for ur room and so on..it shouldn't be expensive or big one..
3. Treat urself with good food outside..
4. Get the latest edition of book or novel of your fav writer..
5. Treat urself at spa..
6. Visit places that u never ever think of going b4 like museum, art galerry, zoo, aquaria and so on or do something u never do like water rafting, wall climbing..why? just to try something new..to change ur normality (shopping, bowling and so on)..
7. Go for short vacation like 2 days trip..somewhere near..Penang maybe...or Melaka..or maybe PD..just to get fresh air..
8. if u r broke that month maybe stay at home watching ur fav movie, drama or series while munching ur fav snack..it sound unhealthy but who cares as long as it make u happy..
9. Try new recipe and have it with your family or ur love one..
10. Do ur own facial treatment or home spa with natural ingredients u have in ur kitchen..

There r many more u can do..the point is, create different activities each time..u will see how ur life, ur mood and ur mind will be..ur psychological need will be fulfilled without u knowing it..

How to Stay Positive when You Know Your Life Sucks

Credit to http://www.wikihow.com

ONE
Ground Yourself. The most common reason why people think their lives suck is that they aren't living their own lives. Look deeply into whether you are acting to please others - to please family, friends, and society. Realize that you need to get to know who you are and what your needs are, and make the choices to follow your own path. To know these things, a path of meditation and inner exploration is invaluable. This also comes to aid if you lose interest in things.

TWO
Look on the inside. What are some qualities you have that you like about yourself? Are you funny? Are you intelligent? Are you sincere? Are you generous? What do you have pride in? Try focusing on the positive things in your life. You may be having a positive influence on others even when you think you're useless.

THREE
Prove those negative thoughts wrong. When you find yourself in a bad mood, you could think of the negative things such as, "I'm dumb and annoying", "I'm better off dead", "I'm ugly, I wish I looked different", etc. Even though it's not true. Change your mind. Look for your good features, think about the ones that you know love you, look on your greater side. Realize that nobody's life is easy and that there will always be ups and downs, and moments of low self esteem. Don't automatically assume that nobody cares. Every person matters to someone. You're alive for a reason.

FOUR
Appreciate what you see. Look in the mirror. Find some beautiful things about yourself.... Do you have nice skin? nice nails? beautiful eyes? full lips? Find stuff that appeals to you. When you can't change something, change your attitude towards it!

FIVE
It's all how you look at it. Jealous of the people with 'amazing' lives? They chose to be that way! Remember, there are people living in mansions who are miserable and people living on the street who are perfectly happy. It's all on how you look at it.

SIX
Determine how your life could be better. What can you do to make your life better? What do you desire to do? How do you want to feel? Make a few reachable goals and your own strategies. The first step is usually the hardest - getting help or admitting you need it.

SEVEN
Get motivated. What motivates you? What gives you energy to go on everyday? Music? Love? Family? A 1km run? God/Allah? Your attitude? Your pet? Friends? School? Give yourself a boost by focusing on what is important to you personally

EIGHT
Don't stop yourself from feeling the joy. It's okay to step back once in awhile and just enjoy the moment. Even in tough situations - it's important to smile and laugh here and there. Don't restrict yourself from doing things you love because they're "not important" or because you think you'll be criticized for doing them. Let yourself enjoy life even if you're not at the best place you could be. You only live once - make the best of it.

NINE (i like this the most)
Develop a gratitude journal. It's pretty simple. At the end of every day, write down five things that have made you happy or appreciative that day -- not necessarily big things, even small ones count. For example: nice weather, being praised by my boss for getting an urgent errand done, my playful dog, kids and hubby kissing me goodbye before they went to school/work, a hilarious joke a mate shared, etc.

P/S:Ada banyak sebenarnya..but i pick 9 jer..nak baca the rest sila ke web dia yer..klik link kat atas tu..so from now on, lets stay positive, think positive and look positive so that everybody around us also got the positive aura..

Whatever it is..i feel happy with changes i made to myself..i hope people around me will accept me as what i am now..

20 superfoods for weight loss

Morning !!
I got this article from yahoo.com..For those out there who crazy about all those dieting things..may be you could consider this..Happy reading..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's time for a new slim-down mantra: Eat more to weigh less. No joke! The right foods help you drop pounds by revving your calorie burn and curbing cravings. We consulted top experts for the best picks and asked leading chefs for easy, tasty ways to prepare them. Add these eats to your plate today and you'll be slimmer and healthier in no time!

By Camille Noe Pagán

Quinoa

Curbing hunger is as easy as piling your plate with this whole grain. It packs both fiber (2.6 grams per 1/2 cup) and protein, a stellar nutrient combo that can keep you satisfied for hours, says chef Sarah Krieger, R.D., spokeswoman in St. Petersburg, Florida, for the American Dietetic Association.
Eat more Serve quinoa instead of rice with stir-fries, or try Krieger's take on a scrumptious hot breakfast: Cook 1/2 cup quinoa in 2/3 cup water and 1/3 cup orange juice for 15 minutes. Top with 1 tbsp each of raisins and chopped walnut

Steak

Beef has a rep as a diet buster, but eating it may help you peel off pounds. In a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, women on a diet that included red meat lost more weight than those eating equal calories but little beef. "The protein in steak helps you retain muscle mass during weight loss," says study author Manny Noakes, Ph.D. Try to consume local organic beef; it's healthier for you and the environment.
Eat more Grill or broil a 4-ounce serving of top round or sirloin; slice thinly to top a salad, or mix with veggies for fajitas.

Eggs

Dig in to eggs, yolks and all: They won't harm your heart, but they can help you trim inches. Women on a low-calorie diet who ate an egg with toast and jelly each morning lost twice as many pounds as those who had a bagel breakfast with the same number of calories but no eggs, a study from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge reports. "Egg protein is filling, so you eat less later in the day," says David Grotto, R.D., author of 101 Foods That Could Save Your Life (Bantam).
Eat more Omelets and scrambles are obvious choices, but if you can't cook before work, bake a frittata on Sunday; chill it and nuke slices for up to a week. An easy recipe: Vegetable Frittata.

Kale

Long sidelined as a lowly garnish, this green belongs center stage on your plate. One raw chopped cup contains 34 calories and about 1.3 grams of fiber, as well as a hearty helping of iron and calcium. But kale's earthy flavor might take some getting used to. Spinach, another nutrient powerhouse, is a milder-tasting option.

Eat more Mix chopped raw kale into cooked black beans, says Jennifer Iserloh, founder of Skinny Chef Culinary Ventures, in New York City. Or slice kale into thin strips, sauté it with vegetable broth and top with orange slices. Make it a meal by tossing the mix with quinoa.

Goji berries
These chewy, tart berries have a hunger-curbing edge over other fruit: 18 amino acids, which make them a surprising source of protein, Krieger says. (They also have more beta-carotene than carrots.) Snack on them midafternoon to stay satisfied until dinner. The calorie cost? Only 35 per tablespoon.
Eat more Mix 1/4 cup of the dried berries (from health food stores) with 1/4 cup raisins and 1/4 cup walnuts for a nourishing trail mix. Or for dessert, pour 1/4 cup boiling water into a bowl with 2 tbsp dried berries; let sit 10 minutes. Drain, then spoon over 1/2 cup lowfat vanilla frozen yogurt.

Buckwheat pasta

Swap plain noodles for this hearty variety; you'll slip into your skinny jeans in no time. "Buckwheat is high in fiber and, unlike most carbs, contains protein," Zuckerbrot says. "Those two nutrients make it very satiating, so it's harder to overeat buckwheat pasta than the regular stuff."
Eat more Cook this pasta as you do rice: Simmer it, covered, over low heat. For a light meal, toss cooked buckwheat pasta with broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and onions. Or make buckwheat crepes using our tasty recipe.

Almond butter

Adding this spread may lower bread's glycemic index (a measure of a food's effect on blood sugar). A study from the University of Toronto found that people who ate almonds with white bread didn't experience the same blood sugar surges as those who ate only the slice. "The higher blood sugar levels rise, the lower they fall; that dip leads to hunger, causing people to overeat," says study author Cyril Kendall, Ph.D. "Furthermore, blood sugar changes cause the body to make insulin, which can increase abdominal fat."
Eat more Try it for a change from peanut butter in sandwiches, or make a veggie dip: Mix 1 tbsp almond butter with 2 tbsp fat-free plain yogurt, Iserloh suggests. Or add a dollop to oatmeal for flavor and protein.

Pomegranates

The juice gets all the hype for being healthy, but pomegranate seeds deserve their own spotlight. In addition to being loaded with folate and disease-fighting antioxidants, they're low in calories and high in fiber, so they satisfy your sweet tooth without blowing your diet, Krieger says.
Eat more Pop the raw seeds on their own (many grocery stores sell them preshucked) as a snack at your desk. "Use them in salads instead of nuts," Iserloh says. "They're especially delicious on raw baby spinach with lemon–poppy seed dressing." For another take on the seeds, use our easy recipe for sweet and spicy pomegranate salsa.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**Pomegranates ni kan jugak bagos untuk ibu2 yang mengandung..so moms out there..go to the market n buy this fruits..it's good for you n your baby..banyak2 makan buah ni kay..dan jangan lupa minum susu..
